Astrid Cook
Prior to joining CMP, Astrid was the editor and publisher of the Bethel Park Courier. Over the past four years residents of Bethel Park have come to rely on this publication as their first resource for information in Bethel Park. Prior to founding the BPC, Astrid had extensive experience as a writer and editor. As the Marketing Communications Representative for a Washington-based multinational corporation, Astrid was responsible for both internal and external communications for North America. During her tenure there, she won a national award from IBM’s WebSphere Magazine for her innovative e-commerce storefront, which she designed and for which she provided content. Prior to this position, Astrid was an editor with the Observer-Reporter, where she won both a Golden Quill and a Keystone award for her writing and web-design work. Astrid is also a published playwright, having produced her plays both in Pittsburgh and the state of Indiana.

Greg Suriano
One of Greg’s previous positions was as the editor of a group of regional lifestyle magazines in New Jersey. This included New Jersey Goodlife, Architecture New Jersey (for the NJ Society of Architects), Omnibus (for the Port Authority of  New York and New Jersey), and business-feature supplements for regional editions of Business Week. While at the helm of these magazines he also wrote columns and articles (real estate, book reviews, art exhibits, personality interviews, and other features). More recently, he was a senior editor at Random House in New York for three years, where he developed book projects in popular culture, history, art, and children’s books that gained national attention. During the last few years he has been self-employed as a book editor/designer and author. Among his published books are: Gershwin in His Time, The British Pre-Raphaelite Illustrators, Great American Speeches, and the upcoming 200 Years of Tea Art.
